Our work

Real programmes and products: what we built, what Kinishi was responsible for, and who we worked with. Every story states our exact contribution — and credits the partners who carried theirs.

Three different forms of responsibility.

One programme transition, one Kinishi product and one fleet in daily operation. Each is specific about the work Kinishi carried.

Retained as a directed source through a Tier 1 change

OEM programme

When a programme's Tier 1 changed, the OEM could have re-sourced the electronics. Instead it directed the new Tier 1 to keep Kinishi — the parts, the knowledge and the accountability stayed exactly where they had proven themselves.

Onboard weighing: concept to production in weeks

Our own product

Hardware, firmware, connected reporting and the production test fixtures — developed concurrently by one team that works to a 12–14 week concept-to-production cycle, with simple variants quicker still. That pace isn't a push; it's what happens when design, manufacture and test sit together.

Having trialled Kinishi's telematics solution extensively I can now say with certainty that it provides accurate information and is the only one on the market (after trialling many) that provides us with the level of accurate information required.

Fleet operation

An NHS customer runs Kinishi onboard weighing with connected reporting in daily operation, chosen after extensive trials. The weighing system and the reporting are developed together at Kinishi — one team answerable for the accuracy of the information the operation depends on.
