Photos from Commercial Vehicle Show ‘08

Adrian, Jonathan and I have attended the Commercial Vehicle Show before as visitors so you’d think we’d know what to expect however we all agree that our experience as first time exhibitors far exceeded any of the expectations we had going in.
Of course, we had our fair share of problems. Most notably, for reasons far beyond our control, we were not on-site for the pre show setup!?! That was closely followed by some early computer troubles that prevented our demo from appearing on the displays until resolved. Jonathan was nowhere to be seen for much of the first day as he expertly managed the IT headaches from within a rather cramped cupboard that became known internally as “Jonathan’s Hobbit Hole“.
Had we not gone down to the show with such a strong team capable of overcoming the most extreme of circumstances and most importantly if we had not chosen our partners so wisely then things would have been very different.
We now have the weighty task of working our way through the list of people we met at the show to make sure that we follow-up in all the ways we have promised. I have no doubt that the Commercial Vehicle Show will be the subject of several future blog posts, for now however I wanted to share some photos with you:
Special thanks must go out to Anna and Rob from Vogue Display who went to great effort to make sure our stand became the marvel you see in the photos. I wouldn’t ever recommend an exhibitor to miss the pre-show setup but if its going to happen then you could not be in better hands! Both Anna and Rob really did go above and beyond the call of duty and it is very much appreciated!
I would also like to thank Derek and the team at Press Red who supplied all of the AV equipment and furniture you can see in the photos. Again, the level of service we received both pre and post show was impeccable.
And finally, I know the whole team would like to thank our good friend Neil for the unbelievable long hours he put in before the show to make sure that each and every graphical panel on the stand reflected the strong brand he has helped us create. Without Neil we’d have had very bare walls!

Hello Alex.
Looked at the site - clean, clear and uncluttered. It certainly gets the message across.
Looked at the show photos. Nice stand. Glad it worked for you.
Best wishes
Brian and all of us at The Prince’s Trust
